It represents the existing ties between Mexico and the United States of North America (USA) due to the faith and devotion of the Mexicans living in this country. The Virgin is also called the patron saint of the Americas or the patron saint of the world. With her help, the ties between the U.S. and Mexico will become stronger. She protects us on our journey to the U.S. from Mexico. |
Esta colcha es la imagen de la Virgen de Guadalupe. Ésta representa los lazos de unión que existen entre México y los Estados Unidos de Norteamérica (USA) debido a la fe y devoción de los mexicanos que viven en este país. La virgen también se llama patrona de las Américas o patrona del mundo. Con su ayuda, los lazos entre U.S. y México van a estar más fuertes; ella nos protege a nosotros cuando venimos a los U.S. desde México. |
