El poder de ser mamá ~ The Power of Being a Mother

I dedicate this quilt to my son, Rodrigo. I made it showing how I hugged my son. It makes me remember the time when he was a baby. He was 4 months old and weighed 24 pounds. I loved to hug him and tell him I love him. It fills me with great pride to be a mother and bring a human being into this world to fill him with love.

Now he is thirteen. He is tall and thin. To motivate him, what I tell him daily is to study a lot so he can be the president of the United States. Now it is a great pleasure to give him good examples of family values so that when he has his own children he will love them as much as I love him. May he give them affection and time like I give him. I give thanks that he came into my life and that I am his mom.
