| My house with a tile roof, is a reminder of Mexican houses with tiled roofs. Mexico, with the dirt roads, the dogs, the animals on the hills, the cactus with fruit, has so many other memories to share. From Mexico, I have many sweet memories of my childhood that I want to share with you. The first house that my family had, had a tile roof. I remember listening to the drops of rain falling on the tiles, and the wind blowing over them. I was a little girl in Michoacán. With time, everything was modernized. They took away the tiled roofs, but they will always be in my mind and heart. |
Mi casita de tejas es para recordar las casas mexicanas con techo de tejas. México, con los caminos empedrados, los perros, los animales en los cerros, los nopales con tunas, tiene tantas otras memorias por compartir. De México tengo dulces recuerdos de mi niñez que quiero compartir contigo. La primera casa que tuvo mi familia tenía techo de
tejas. Recuerdo escuchar las gotas de lluvia sobre los techos, el viento soplando sobre ellos. Yo era niña en Michoacán. Con el tiempo todo se modernizó. Se acabaron los techos de tejas, pero siempre estarán en mi mente y en mi corazón para siempre. |
